A huge thank you to everyone that contributed to the massive success of the 2022 Summer Fete at the Bursledon Schools. We raised a whopping £4201 for our schools.

 

 

Welcome to the PTA page, and to our brand new 2021/2022 Committee, continuing for the school year 2022/23.

Let us introduce ourselves:

    

Lucy -  Chair
My daughter Tallulah is in year one and I have two younger boys.  When I’m not literally running around after any of them I enjoy being outside and on the water with my family and friends, as well as doing some crafting. I also have an interest in sustainability and growing your own veg! 

I am really excited to be a part of the PTA in order to continue the great work that has been done before; bringing the parent and school community together to help make the school the best it can be for our children through a shared vision and raising funds to achieve these goals. I hope to be able to utilise my skills from my background in marketing, PR and events as well as the fact I have grown up in the local area. 

Feel free to stop me in the playground or on the hill if you want to discuss anything!
 
 
Rachel - Secretary
My son Henry is in Year One. I also have a little boy currently at Dragonflies, and joining the school next year, and a little girl born in Covid times. I'm a writer and content creator, and enjoy books, adventures and travel, and fibre art.

I am so excited to be a part of this new PTA, bringing my passion for reading and creativity. 

You'll generally find me looking after the "Friends of Bursledon Schools" Facebook page, so feel free to contact me there, or grab me outside school too. I'm usually the one running after small humans, particularly two rather speedy blonde boys.

     

Dann - Treasurer
My son Henry is in Year One. I also have a little boy currently at Dragonflies, and joining the school next year, and a little girl born in Covid times. You may recognise my little ones from Rachel's bio, as I'm her husband.

I'm a Programme Manager for Hampshire Highways Planned Maintenance, looking after the roads within Hampshire. I'm a first degree black belt in TaeKwondo and Self Defense System, and a white belt in training in Brazilian Ju Jitsu. I'm a trained accountant and a whizz on an excel spreadsheet so I'm lending my mathematical skills to the PTA. I'm a behind the scenes guy, but always happy to chat if you see me around.
