Life As A Church School

Our Infant school is Church of England Controlled which means that it is Local Authority Maintained and receives no funding from the church, but it has foundation governors from the Anglican church community as part of its Governing Board.  It is also subject to routine inspections by the diocese. The Junior School is affiliated to the Church of England and both schools share the same Christian vision, values and ethos.  Many of our policies and practices are based on our Christian values - a good example of this would be our behaviour policy which you can click here to view.  The Federation also has an active Christian Union group with a band of Bursledon Bible Explorers - follow our activities on our webpage.
