Geography Year 6 

In year 6, children explore OS maps, how they are used, their symbols, their scale and how to use 6 figure grid references. They apply this knowledge to a local area fieldwork study.

Year 6 also explore the concept of extreme weather, learning about where weather is most extreme and the impact that climate change is having on the world's climate.
