Pastoral

At the Bursledon Federation of Schools we  value and support the development  of                                                                                               the  social, emotional and mental health of all pupils. We are fortunate to have a dedicated Pastoral Team, all of whom are trained as Emotional Literacy Support Assistants (ELSAs). The team is led by Mrs Clare Male. The Pastoral Team predominantly support the children in school but will work with the wider family where needed. The schools have dedicated spaces for pastoral support, which are calm and cosy spaces where the children can feel safe and comfortable to share their feelings. 

All members of our school community suffer bereavement and loss at some point in their lives. Our Pastoral Team offer support to pupils, please see the links below for further information.
